Nora’s Obituary We are saddened to announce the passing of Nora Ann (Shovlin) Carroll. She was caring, giving, honest and a true Irish, Jamaica Queens New Yorker. She was also a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Nora passed away the morning of December 10, 2022 surrounded by family who will always love her. She reunites with the love of her life, John Joseph Carroll III, her daughter Jacqueline, and many many relatives from here and Ireland, who she will immediately recognize, whether she ever met them or not. Nora is survived by son John and his wife Marla, son Greg and his wife Teresa, daughter Veronica and her husband Chris, grandchildren John, Tanya, Todd, Thomas, Emma, Danielle, Alexandria, Stephanie, Sarah, and Alexandra, almost a dozen great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
