Nolen ” Don”‘s Obituary Nolen Don Moore Nolen “Don” Moore, 90, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at his home in Bellville, TX, surrounded by much of his family. Don was born on November 4, 1931, to Jack and Beulah Moore in Noble, LA. He moved to Orange, TX, in 1943 and was a graduate of Lutcher Stark High School. There in Orange, TX, Don married his wife of 70 years, Clothilde “Teal” Aubin, in 1952. For years to follow, they raised their five children in their family home in Vidor, TX. Don served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, after which service he led a decades-long career at Citgo Petroleum as an Electrical Supervisor and Coordinator. Don lived a life of service to his country and God, being a lifelong member of the Masons and serving his community through faith. Don served as deacon of Trinity Baptist Church for 10 years, and once he and his wife Teal moved to Bellville, TX, he served as a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Bellville for 20 years. Survivors include: Don and Teal’s children: Sue Moore of Brenham, TX; Donna Godfrey and husband Robert of Alpharetta, GA; Ray Moore and wife Donna of Nacogdoches, TX; Terri Booth and husband Dlynn of Bellville, TX Grandchildren: Jennifer Verinsky and husband Shawn, Lance Silva and fiancé Jubilee Davis, Kellie Frey and husband Matt, Andria Godfrey, Katie Camacho and husband Robert, Olivia Fong and husband Joe, Nicholas Booth and wife Carissa and nine great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by brothers Travis, and Elree Moore, sister Marguerite Mahfouz, and daughter Kimberly Moore Noffke. Don requested that memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund. Don was passionate about the North Campus building project at the First Baptist Church of Bellville. Services are under the direction of Kenesek Brothers Funeral Chapel. Internment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
