Slaughter, age 56, of Edgerton, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison. She was born in Edgerton on September 15, 1966, the daughter of Richard and Alice (Ward) Uglum. She was a 1985 graduate of Edgerton High School. Nancy’s greatest passion was her family and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tasha Slaughter; 4 grandchildren: Isaac, Teagan, Oakleigh and Tyler; parents, Richard and Alice Uglum; 2 sisters; Sherrie Gray and Tammy (Jessie) Davis; 2 brothers; Jeffrey Uglum and Robert Uglum; niece, Amber Gray; nephew, Zachary Gray; and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Slaughter; son, Tyler Lamar; 3 brothers: Tim, Thomas and Terrance Uglum. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton with Rev. Erik Jelinek officiating. Burial will follow at Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Read more
