1934 2022 (age 87)
Obituary Minnie Dora (Harris) Lowe was born November 13, 1934, in Bradley, Arkansas, to the late Jimmie and Kate Harris. She was one of nineteen children. In 1947, she moved to Dayton with her mother and siblings, and attended Dayton Public Schools. On January 14, 2022, GOD, in his infinite wisdom sent his angels to care flight our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Minnie Harris-Lowe, to the throne to receive her crown and everlasting life. Minnie loved her family and wanted the best for all of them. She was a very peaceful person and always wanted her children and grandchildren to get along and stay close to each other. One of her last requests was a barbecue in October 2021, with her children and grandchildren. Her family granted her request and it made her overwhelmingly happy. She loved cooking for her family and adored her grandchildren, especially the great grandchildren. Her life was a life well lived. Minnie was preceded in death by her eldest son, Jeffrey Harris (2005); grandson, Quinn Moore; great grandson, Isiah Haggins (2014); parents, 11 siblings, Jimmy Harris, Huey, Joseph and Felix Harris, Reatha Hubbard, Mamie Duffy, Ophelia Dews, Cautrie Harris, Shirley Johnson, Paul and Peter Harris. She leaves her legacy of love to her beloved children, Letricia Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, Jerome Harris, Kay Haggins, Minnie Harris (Terry), Anthony Harris, Belinda Harris, and Ronald Harris (Carrie), all of Dayton; 17 grandchildren, Camillia, Isiah (Jackie), Brandy, Shanaya, Joshua, Tamara, Roger, Erica, Sheree, Terry, Edward, Natavia, Ronesia, Nicole, Jeremiah, and Breonna; 45 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Joann Poston and Ruby Parks both of Dayton, Lynn Scott of New Jersey, and Betty Davis of N. Carolina, Arlean Harris of S. Carolina and Luberta Harris of California; brother, Joseph Harris; brother-in-law, George Johnson, both of Dayton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
