View Tribute Book Mileva “Mildred” Mervis, of Hopewell Twp., passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the age of 96. Born August 5, 1926, in Monaca, she was a daughter of the late Stevan and Milica (Gaic) Linkovich. She was a lifelong member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, of which she was a former member of the choir and Circle of Serbian Sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mervis; sister, Helen Linkovich; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and John Musolin, and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Virginia Linkovich. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Melissa Hennessy, Yvonne and John Baker, Steven and Denise Linkovich, and Michael and Francine Linkovich; and her great nephews, Cole and Christopher Baker, who brought her much joy, and many loving members of the Mervis family. She will always be remembered with love, and never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched. Friends will be received Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 4pm until 7pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA, 15001. Family and friends will meet Friday, December 23, 2022, at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, 2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, PA, 15001, where a service will be held at 10am, with Fr. Branislav Golic, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Elijah Church Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. The family would like to thank Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Twp., and Gateway Hospice, especially Ciera, JoEllyn, Jennifer, and Wayne, for all their kindness, care and support. Pomen (blessing service) will be held Thursday at 6:30pm in the funeral home. Read more
