Obituary Miguel “Mike” Trevino Jr., 69, of Amarillo passed away on December 6, 2022. The family will receive guests at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Rosary will be read beginning at 6pm with Deacon Tino Faustino presiding. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1pm in the Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lupe Mayorga presiding. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Mike was born on April 15, 1953 to Miguel Sr and Amelia (Martinez) Trevino in Cuero, Texas. He was a very nice and caring man who was incredibly happy and friendly. He absolutely loved sports, and none more than watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. When he wasn’t watching the Cowboys, he could often be found tinkering around on cars. Mike loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed get togethers of all kinds, and cherished the memories that they made together. Mike also had a huge heart for animals. He greatly enjoyed taking in just about any animal, feeding them, and giving them a great home. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ronda Trevino, and daughter Betty Soyla Trevino; brothers Robert and Gilbert Trevino, sisters Betty and Soyla Trevino. Those left to cherish his memories are his sisters Gloria Trevion-Rivas, Eugenia Olon and husband Adolfo, and Olivia Trevino-Rocha and husband Lino; and brother Albert Trevino.
