On November 18, 2022, age 95, at the Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson. She was born in Baltimore, grew up in the Guilford neighborhood and graduated from Girls Latin School in 1945. Pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, Noel L. Sims, in 1997, she continued to lead a very active life “her way”, enjoying the beach, steamed crabs, golf, playing bridge, and her family and friends at residences in Baltimore and Ft. Lauderdale, FL She is survived by her two sons, Noel L. Sims, Jr. and his partner Linda Douglass, and C. Terrence Sims and his wife Megan. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral and interment private, with memorial to be scheduled later.
