Flasher, 55 of Route 6, Pittsfield, Pa and formerly of Sugar Grove, Pa, died Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born June 25, 1964 in Warren, Pa., daughter of the late Howard B. and Janet R. Wilkinson Flasher. Melissa was raised and educated in Sugar Grove, Pa., and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1985. After she graduated, she went to work for Whirley Industries and later for Truck Lite and most recently, Blair Corporation. Melissa enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening, painting and her beagle Buddy. She attended Youngsville Free Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie “LeRoy” in infancy and a step brother, James Flasher. She is survived by her brother, Howard “Ben” (Jessica) Flasher of Pittsfield, Pa., six nieces and nephews, Cameron, Auston, Autumn, Jamie, Robbie “Little Bob” and Hunter also by several aunts and uncles. Service will be held at the convince of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. center St., Corry, Pa., 16407.
