Mele Uini Iloa, age 83, a loving wife, mother , grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully Monday August 1st,2022 in her beautiful home in Salt Lake City, Utah surrounded by her loved ones. Mele was born in 1938 in Vaipoa, Niua Toputapu, Tongatapu to the late Alipate Me’asi’i Moleni and Ana Tekiata Langi. She had 10 siblings She married the love of her life Sakeasi Fehi’osi Iloa in Auckland New Zealand 1967. They were blessed with their only son Uoleni Taine’Iloa in 1969. Our grandmother was a woman of faith, forgiveness, kindness, selflessness, humility, always giving her time to others, and loved the gospel. Our grandmother is the reason for our family unity. She taught us to love always and to never forget our upbringing and to always stay humble. She taught us hard work and sacrifice. She showed us the true meaning of a grandmother’s love and showed us through her examples. She is survived by her only son Uoleni Taine Iloa/ Tule Laota Langi Iloa. 6 grandchildren, Valerie/Tazman Maile, Simote/Bailey Iloa, Mele Uini/Benjamin Angilau, Tatiyana Iloa, Asaeli Jr Iloa, Ana Popua and 9 great grandchildren.
