Obituary MATTHEW T. HENMAN, age 51 of Sidney, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 11, 1971 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Donald and Nancy (Freisthler) Henman of Sidney. Matthew is also survived by three brothers; Mark (Scarlet) Henman, Michael (Julie) Henman, and Mitch (Lorri) Henman all of Sidney, three nephews; Craig (Courtney) Henman, Brad (Erica) Henman, and Jordan Henman, and three nieces; Alex Henman, Claire Henman, and Ellie Henman. Matt was a graduate of Fairlawn High School. He began college at “The Ohio State University.” He completed his degree in Computers at Edison State. Like his grandfather and father, Matt enjoyed farming the family farm. He was a member of the Shelby County Agricultural Society/Shelby County Fair Board. Matt never missed an Ohio State Buckeye’s game. He enjoyed listening to rock music and attending concerts with family and friends. Matt also enjoyed assisting with Fairlawn’s track meets. Though not a man of many words, he always looked out for and took care of his entire family. He was loved very much and will be dearly missed by his friends and family. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4 PM to 7 PM with funeral services to begin at 7 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Don Burley officiating. A Private Committal Service will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, Ohio at a later date.
