Thomas, on October 31, 2022, Mary McCormick, passed away peacefully at home following a brief illness. She was 95 years of age, and a resident of Lutherville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Dean McCormick, Jr., and Phyllis McCormick (nee Maple), and her beloved husband, James Richard Thomas, Sr., who passed away on January 19, 2020. Survivors include her children: , Mary Stuart Thomas Gillespie, ,J. Richard Thomas, Jr., Henry Briscoe Thomas, and William McCormick Thomas, She is also survived by one son-in-law, Paul Gillespie, and 3 daughters-in-law: Joan Thomas, Tina Thomas and Sally Thomas. She is the loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members. Funeral Services are pending and will be announced when details are complete. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her precious memory to the Squirrel Island Chapel, 18 Churchill Road, South Portland, Maine 04106
