Mary Jane Jackson, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 15 at her home. Ms. Jackson was a retired painter with the S & R Company. She is survived by one son, David Milton (Sonja) Jackson; one grandson, David Jackson, Jr; one granddaughter, Shelby Jackson and two brothers, Jerry Wayne Rogers (her twin brother) and Doug Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert “Sod” and Ruby Pennington Rogers; her husband, Milton Jackson, one son, Devon Jackson; two sisters, Reaba Lavelle and Lorine Pool and three brothers, Norris Rogers, E. J. Rogers and Wallace Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 18 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.
