Mary Catherine “Cathy” Haney, 71, of Chesterfield, passed away on December 24, 2022. She was born on May 30, 1951, in Richmond, IN. Cathy was a 1969 graduate of Anderson High School. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Loudermilk for many years. Cathy was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audra Cummings, her grandparents, Nora and Wesley Carlton, her mother-in-law, Helen Haney, her son-in-law, Marcus Peoples, and her nephew, David Weful. Cathy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Fred Haney; her children ,Christell Hinkle (Clint), Rebecca Bunnell (Robert), Tricia Peoples, and Bradley Haney (Heather); her grandchildren, Lara Loughman (Bryce), Ky Hinkle, Drake Shelton, Lyndsay Bunnell, Nathan Bunnell (Sara), Tim Bunnell (Sarah), Adryonna Underwood (Dayton), Tyreese Peoples, Alivia “Birdie” Peoples, Amarria Peoples, Amelia Haney, Jack Haney, and Lilly Haney; great-grandchildren, Owen and Wesley Loughman, Za’kai Underwood, and Waylon Bunnell; her sister, Patricia Renfrow; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Judy McCoy; several nieces and nephews, and her Fisherman’s Cove family. There will be a celebration of Cathy’s life held at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV). www.LooseCares.com.
