UTICA – Mr. Mark John Shulsky, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in the comfort and dignity of his home. Mark was born in New Hartford, NY, on August 26, 1972, to Mary Elaine (Bogoshian) Shulsky and the late John C. Shulsky. A Poland Central School graduate, Mark became a chef at various restaurants and colleges over the years. A loving son, he had a caring and expansive heart. He had promised to not go a day without calling and checking in on his mom and her well-being. Mark is fondly remembered for lovingly telling others as they would leave to “Have a good time!” Along with his dad, Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved music and enjoyed a good game of shooting darts. Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Elaine, and his daughter, Layla. He will be fondly remembered by his sister and her husband, Tracey and Edward Zelenske; and will live on in the hearts of his aunts, Susan Randall, with whom Mark shared a special relationship, and Marilyn Shulsky, and Doris Beyer, while he was held in the hearts of his deceased uncles and aunts, James Shulsky, Richard Beyer, and June and Patrick Curley. Mark leaves behind his many cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Anna (Humphrey) Shulsky, and his maternal grandparents, Haig M. Bogoshian and Katherine R. (McNeil) Wuest. The family will honor his life privately.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mark John Shulsky August 26 1972 September 24 2022.
