Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Weaver, 86 Enid, will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm in St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Hennessey under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Marie was born July 6, 1935 in Hennessey, Ok, to Anton and Mary Severin Patocka and passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 in Enid. She attended Hennessey Schools. She provided in home childcare before she went to work for the Garfield County Court House as an elevator operator. Marie enjoyed spending time with her sisters, her nieces and nephews and friends. She always had a smile on her face and an optimistic attitude. Marie could accomplish anything she set her mind to do. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Marie is survived by three sisters, Virginia Markham, Wilma (Don) Scheffe and Velma Ayers; sister-in-law, Margie Patocka; 11 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Vincent and Ervin and a son Billy. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Gregory’s Good Samaritan Fund.
