Marian K. Barrick February 24, 1936 – December 3, 2022 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Marian K. Barrick, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 3rd. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Howard, and family. Marian was born in Spinnerstown, PA to the late Charles and Lula (Shelly) Hunsicker. She was a loving and generous soul. Marian was very active in volunteering with her church and community. Her lifelong adventure meant countless journeys with her partner in life, Howard. Marian loved to travel and spend summers camping and entertaining at their home-away-from-home at Rehoboth Beach. She was a talented musician who played piano and was a decades-long participant in the bell and church choirs. Marian was a secretary and bookkeeper, with an unflagging work ethic only surpassed by a variety of lifelong passions she shared to brighten the lives of friends and family. As a skilled baker, cook, gardener, decorator, and someone who loved to craft, sew and knit, Marian leaves a treasure trove of memories and keepsakes to cherish. In addition to her husband, Marian is survived by her children Cathy Kassa, Diane Wood, Valarie Heltz, Ronald Barrick and Howard Barrick, Jr.; brother Willie Hunsicker; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother Ray. Services are pending, and will be held at Trinity Great Swamp UCC, Spinnerstown, PA, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marian’s name to Manna On Main Street, would be greatly appreciated. Services are made under the direction of Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home.
