Obituary Maria A. Salazar was born Friday, November 24, 1944 to David and Trinidad Cortez and passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her loving children, Jose “Hozer” (Griselda) Higareda, Maria (George) Guerrero, San Juana (Carlos) Mondragon, Jesus (Roxane) Higareda, Blanca (Victor) Gonzales, Ruben Salazar, Daniel (Angie) Salazar, Soledad Martinez and numerous grandchildren. She is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 22th, 2022 at 12:30 PM St. Leo’s The Great Catholic Church with procession to follow for burial at San Jose Burial Park.
