Margaret “Marge” Heinrich, age 94, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home in Brielle. Born in New York, Marge has been a lifelong resident of Brielle. Mrs. Heinrich worked as a long-distance telephone operator in her younger years. She spent most of her career as the Treasurer for her husband’s business, Manasquan News Service, Inc. Marge was a communicant of St. Denis RC Church, Manasquan for many years. She was a member and past head of the Ladies Powder Puff Sailing Auxiliary at Manasquan River Yacht Club as well as the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at Toms River Yacht Club. Additionally, for many years she enjoyed racing small sailboats in the Manasquan River & Barnegat Bay. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick Michael Heinrich in 2008. They spent many years sailing together, including racing offshore and cruising to Bermuda and Florida. Surviving are her children, Margaret Hand, Nancy Didden and her husband, Charles; Mike Heinrich and his wife, Taryn; her grandchildren, Glen Willis, Joan Hand and Beth Hykel; her great-grandchildren, Cassandra Northrup, Maisy Willis and Ruby Willis. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 3rd at 9:30 a.m. at St. Denis RC Church, Manasquan followed by the burial at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
