Louise T. White, 79, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on May 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry T. Lewis, Jr. and Lucy P. (Jones) Lewis. Raised in Norfolk, Virginia, where she was a graduate of Maury High School. She attained her Bachelor of Science degree from Christopher Newport College in Newport News, Virginia. She was a 4th grade teacher at Forrest Elementary School in Hampton, Virginia. Louise was a member of the Elizaville Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved knitting and cooking Martha Stewart recipes. A fan of the Royals, she followed their stories and was deeply saddened at the recent death of Queen Elizabeth. Survivors include daughter, Catherine Warren Warburton of Lebanon; grandchildren, Tyler J. Warburton of Lebanon, Charles L. Warburton of Lebanon, and Victoria P. Warburton of Lafayette; and a sister, Mary Pembroke Lewis Copeland of Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David C. Warburton. Private Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Elizaville Cemetery, with Pastor Millard Branson, officiating. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon has been entrusted with her arrangements for burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be director in her memory to the Elizaville Baptist Church, 5946 North Howard Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.
