Louise’s Obituary Visitation for Louise Sorgente, 81, of Grayslake is Sunday November 20, 2022, from 10 AM – 12 PM (Noon) at the Kristan Funeral Home 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176) Mundelein. Funeral service will begin at 12 PM. She was born March 16, 1941, in Castelli, Italy and died Saturday November 12, 2022, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Louise loved to plant and nurture flowers. She enjoyed needlework, needlepoint and cross stitching. She also liked to color in her coloring books and loved to dance. Louise also adored Elvis. Most of all, she was proud to be a great grandma and spending time with her family and friends. Louise is survived by her children Patricia (Tom) Geary, Lisabeth Nielsson, John (Angela) Nielsson, her siblings Arnold Catini, Frank (Franca) Catini, Elisa Rych, Linda (Bill) Smith, her grandchildren Megan (John) Reyes, Linda (Alex) Diaz, Kevin (Maribel) Drehobl, Kelly Geary, Jenna Geary, Andreanna (Michael) Smith, Marissa Nielsson, great grandchildren Ava, Isaiah, Aelxis, Alan and Bella. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Nielsson, sister in-law Patricia Catini and brother in-law Michael Rych.
