Louie Oren Thomason, age 81 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday, December 11, 2022, Born Wednesday, February 12, 1941 in Es, Missouri, he was the son of the late Louie and Lorene (Stallings) Thomason. Louie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, and playing golf but his favorite thing to do was coaching football . He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Roberta Thomason of Cookeville, TN. Daughters: Kimberly (Adon) Madrigal Kristi (Matt) Poole Jamie (Wesley) Walker Sons: Robert (Jennifer) Bramblett Louis (Melinda)Thomason Sister: Freda Thomason Brother and sister in law: Mike and Michelle Desentz A host of Nieces and Nephews Louie was also a loving pet parent to Lucy and Buttons. In addition to his parents, Louie was preceded in death by 3 brothers Leroy, Alvy and Clyde Thomason. Funeral services for Louie will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 beginning at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, December 17 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
