Obituary Lorraine Nitti Campanella passed peacefully May 28, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona, she was 89 years old. Lorraine was born and raised in New Jersey and later in life she moved to Florida. She spent the last 2 years of her life in sunny Mesa, Arizona. Lorraine was a mother, wife, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked as a court stenographer for over 40 years many of which were with the Federal Court of N.J. In fact her claim to fame was that she was the court stenographer when Hurricane Carter was exonerated and freed after serving over 30 years in prison. Her door was always open, if you were in her home you would eat, even if you were not hungry. Everyone who knew Lorraine, was considered family. She loved Sunday Services and Bible Study . She also loved a good card game and the Casino. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting. Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Louis Campanella, her children, Bernadette Guarriello, Thomas Nitti and stepson Glenn Campanella, her sisters Rosalyn Annin and Angela Gomes. Surviving is her brother Philip Sprague and his wife Lee. Her children Raymond and Marva Nitti, Adrienne and Edward Pfaff, Theresa Nitti–Graziano, Leslie Nitti, Maria Boffice, Gina and Taylor Anderson and step son Lewis Campanella, Larry Campanella and his wife Nancy. Her grandchildren Michael and wife Tina Pfaff, Jill Pfaff, James, Kevin and Allie Nitti, Bernadette Boffice, Louie Lehrbass, and T. Maxwell and Zachary Anderson. Great Grandchildren Makayla and Logan Pfaff, and Bria Rose Nitti. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be forever missed by her lifelong friend Darlene, dear friend Michael and countless others.
