View Tribute Book Lorraine Marhelko Harker, 94, of Sugarloaf passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022, at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazle Township. Born in Fern Glen, she was the daughter of the late Michael Marhelko and Hazle (McGlynn) Marhelko. Lorraine was a proud graduate of Rock Glen High School. She lived a simple life and truly enjoyed being a mom, a home maker and caring for her family. She was an avid reader always deep into the suspense or mysteries of a good book. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her brothers Michael, John and Tom Marhelko, sisters Miriam Frederick, and Jane Lapczynski, son Kenneth Harker, daughter Bonita Fisher and grandson Richard Fisher. Lorraine is survived by her sons Michael D. Harker of Tomhicken, James Harker of North Carolina, Raynor Harker of Tomhicken, daughter Joyce Gilbert, sisters Jean Young and her husband Bob of New Jersey, Denise Davis and her husband Rick of Bloomsburg, grandchildren, Shawn Harker and his wife Jen of Weatherly, Michael K. Harker of Tomhicken, and Donna Fisher Clarko, numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
