Lorraine Louise Abela passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, LA on April 28, 1951. She is survived by her sister, Mary Anne Gallagher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Elenor Mayne Abela and Andrew William Abela. She was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Covington, LA . Ms Abela was a Title Abstractor for St. Tammany Parish and found great joy in being an instructor to raise literacy in St. Tammany Parish. She was loving, compassionate, and a very caring person to all. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
