Obituary Lois Irene Kirby Stewart, age 84 of Seymour passed away Friday September 23, 2022. Her family was the most important thing to her and was known by everyone as “Granny”. Lois was a life long member of Oak City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Ferree; parents, W.H. and Stella Kirby; brothers and sister, William Houston Jr., Ralph, Glenn, Charles Kirby and Vena Carter. Lois is survived by her sister, Virginia Mize (Jack); daughters, Lee Ann Koenig (Richard), Barbara Harmon (Michael); son, David Stewart; daughter-in-law, Kim Boehlein; grandchildren, Darrell Ferree (Chrissy), Randall Ferree (Kristi), Chris Ferree (Heather), Kristy Prater (Jonas), Josh Harmon (Brittney), Stephanie Walker (Paul), Jeffrey Harmon, Samantha Stewart, Taylor Stewart; great grandchildren, Blake, Faith, Joseph, Ashleigh, Peyton, Mackenzie, Lauren, Kelly, Camryn, Kyle, JJ, Conor, Josh Jr, Keegan, Madison, Brayden, Brystal and Colton. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with service to follow at 7PM. Rev. Chris Kendall will be officiating.
