Lois Ann Goehring, 79, of Grand Island passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Service and celebration of Lois’ life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Third City Christian Church. Burial will follow at Grand Island City Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Lois was born August 25, 1942, in Callaway, NE, the daughter of Leslie and Viola (Huffman) Hopkins. She attended rural school near Callaway. Following her relocation to Grand Island, Lois was employed as a courier for Lutheran Memorial Hospital and then was with St. Francis Hospital for 30 years, retiring at 70. She was a member of Third City Christian Church and enjoyed the weekly Young at Heart Bible Study. In the past she had been a dedicated Red Hat Lady. Lois currently enjoyed the Grand Generation Center. Those who will cherish her memory include her daughter, LoAnne Miller of San Tan Valley, AZ; six grandchildren, Troy (Crystal) Miller, Heather Miller, Alicia (Steven) Kochheiser, Autumn Miller, Sequoia Miller and Gary Taylor; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike (Phyla) Hopkins of Exeter, NE and Kevin (Deb) Hopkins of St. Angela, TX; and sister, Lynette Gomez of Doniphan; and her four-legged buddy, Miss Ellie. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Renee Major; brother, David Hopkins and sisters, Elaine Marsh, Barbara Myers, Karen Stougard and Carolyn Harris.
