Linda’s Obituary Linda Sells, 72, of Clayton, TX, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec. 18, 2022, at home in Clayton. She was born on Nov. 11, 1950, in Hereford, TX to the late Clinton and Neva Iola McCutchen Brevard. Linda married William Homer “Bill” Sells on June 16, 1967, in Carthage, TX and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2019, after over 51 years together. She lived her lifetime in Clayton where she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Linda was also preceded in death by her sister, Dianna Cole. She is survived by her children, Billy Sells and wife Tina and Denise Aviles and husband Ricky; grandchildren, Brytanie Aviles, Amy Sells, Sonya Sells, Brandy Sells, Dalton Aviles, Charlotte Reid, and Leia Reid; great-grandchildren, Brantley Aviles, Madelyn Tinkle, and Marie Harsh; and brother-in-law, Danny Cole. Numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Mutina officiating. Interment will follow in Clayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Travis Sells, Chris Sells, Jonathan Sells, Dalton Aviles, Mike Brown, and Paul Oney.
