Linda Blum-Barton, 66, of Greenville, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home. Born in Griffin, GA, she was a daughter of the late William Wesley and Mildred McLean Blum. She was a career draft person, owned and operated A Family Affair with her husband. She was also an enthusiastic genealogist, gemologist, political activist, and a board member Friends of Historic Woolsey. She is survived by her husband: Toby Barton; son: Christopher Barton; daughter: Katie Barton; step-daughters: Toraye Izatt, Leesa Akins; grandchildren: Luke, Trinity, Mason, Michael; sister: Elaine Baker(Philip); and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Powell. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 1-2pm at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2pm at Mowell Funeral Home with burial to follow at Woolsey Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends of Historic Woolsey, Inc. P.O. Box 301 Brooks, GA 30205. The family will be at their respective homes.
