Levi John Beavert, age 40, of Wapato, passed away on December 24, 2022. Levi was born on August 17, 1982 to Columbus T. Beavert and Deanne M. Moffett. He was currently employed as a Security Guard at Crowd Management Services of Yakima, of which he worked for many years. Levi loved spending time in the mountains cutting wood and fishing. He loved visiting and spending time with his family. Levi often enjoyed taking drives to clear his mind and enjoy the surrounding scenery. He was raised playing sports, especially basketball and softball. Levi loved his family dearly and was an amazing father, brother, uncle, cousin, son, and friend. He will truly be missed and will never be forgotten. Levi was preceded in death by his mother, Deanne Moffett, maternal grandparents Phyllis Williams and Francis Monday Sr., and paternal grandparents Columbus H. Beavert and Florence Aleck-Beavert. He is survived by his son, Levi Gerrad Beavert Jr. of Wapato, sister, Inez of Pendleton, OR, brother, Zachary of Wapato, and father, Columbus of Wapato. Dressing services will be held on Wednesday, December 28 at Valley Hills Funeral Home followed by overnight services at 1910 Shaker Church. Services will be followed by a burial at his final resting place Thursday morning at Winnier Cemetery in Toppenish, WA.
