Lester’s Obituary Lester G. Bransteter, 96, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, Indiana. He was born on September 19, 1926, in Rockford, Ohio to the late Charles Bransteter and the late Nellie (McGough) Bransteter. Lester proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He was united in marriage to Mary Helen Burk on September 21, 1946, in Uniondale, Indiana and she preceded him in death on October 1, 2015. He was a livestock buyer for PB Stewart for 40 years. Survivors include three sons, Bryan (Robin) Bransteter of Cicero, Indiana, Timothy Bransteter of Atlanta, Georgia, and Scott Bransteter of San Antonia, Texas; four grandchildren, Daniel Bransteter, David Bransteter, Nicole Bransteter and Samantha Bransteter. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Helen Bransteter. In keeping with Lester’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
