View Tribute Book Mr. Lester Anthony Stidham, age 78, of Waco, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at his home. Mr. Stidham, the son of the late Millard Stidham and Bernice Hurt Stidham, was born in Madison County on August 9, 1944. After 34 years of service, he retired as the Water Plant Operator for Richmond Utilities. Lester enjoyed playing golf and he dearly loved his family. He attended Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Assembly. On February 8, 1944, Lester united in marriage to Shirley Faye Coyle Stidham who survives. Other survivors include their son: Rev. Tony (& Patrina) Stidham of Irvine; their daughter: Kim Edwards of Richmond; one brother: Leon (& Gail) Stidham; four grandchildren: Zachary Carraway, Erica (& Mark) White, McKenzie (& Jacob) White and Leah Stidham; two step grandchildren: Patrick Edwards and Ashley Buttersworth; three great-grandchildren: Judah White, Jael White, and Laykin White; three step great grandchildren: Bailey Buttersworth, Ryder Buttersworth and Averie (& Kyle) Edwards, two brothers-in-law: Ralph (& Thelma) Coyle and Gary (& Tammy) Coyle and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Stidham was also preceded in death by two grandchildren: Luke Stidham and Gabrielle Stidham and his half-brother: Kenneth Eversole. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney Sparks, Jr. and Rev. Tony Stidham officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Zachary Carraway, Jon Lainhart, Lee Anglin, Jacob White, Mark White and David Stidham. Leon Stidham will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
