Obituary Leslie Tucker Cannon, 52, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 22, 2022. A private service for family will be held at a later date. Leslie grew up in Charlotte and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. She went on to East Carolina University, where she graduated with degrees in Education and Early Childhood Development. Leslie taught at Pactolus Elementary for a number of years in Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 4th Grade. She was also a regular volunteer at Vidant Medical Center in the Stroke Rehab department and was a member of First Christian Church in Greenville. Leslie is survived by her daughter, Chloe Cannon of Greenville; parents, Donnie and Micki Tucker of Winterville; sister, Melissa Caruso and husband, Phil, of Raleigh and their son, Tucker Caruso. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; the American Heart Association, Memorial & Tribute Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060; or to a charity of one’s choice.
