LaVerne E. Lundquist, age 97, passed away peacefully November 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, David Lundquist. She is survived by her daughters Pat (Alan) Hutchings and Janet Lundquist, and her granddaughter Leslie (Geoff) Hutchings. LaVerne lived in Glenview for 65 years, where she was active in the Glenview United Methodist Church, the Garden Club, and the Glenview Senior Center. LaVerne was rich in friends, and her wide social circle included “The Club”, a group of 12 women who met monthly since their grade school years, her golf group, bowling club, spaghetti supper group, and the many friends she and David made through their travels. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Glenview Methodist Church from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with a toast to LaVerne at 5:00pm.
