Larry D. Young , age 80, of Orrville, died Friday, October 7, 2022, at Accord Care Community in Orrville, following a period of declining health. Larry was born on September 2, 1942, in Ashland, to the late Raymond and Helen (Meyer) Young and married Bonnie Barnes on January 6, 1968, in Jeromesville. He graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1960, worked for the Will-Burt Company in Orrville, and then started his own company, Quality Cleaning, which he ran for many years, retiring in 2005. Larry previously attended Grace Church in Wooster. He enjoyed raising and showing rabbits and traveled extensively to do so. He was also an avid collector of tractors. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; four children, James Young of Orrville, Cassie (Bruce) Brugger of Loudonville, Ed Young of Wooster, and Tara (Jon) Baker of Canton; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Miriam (Bill) Slabaugh of Carson City, NV. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Shelley Young; brother, Stanley Young; and sister, Marilyn Young. A private graveside burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
