Obituary Lafone Ratcliff, 62, passed away May 12, 2022, at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. Lafone was born June 16,1959, in Fairbanks, Alaska to Geneva Ratcliff and Dr. Willie Ratcliff. He met and later wed Patricia Mund after meeting in Bismarck, ND while working for his father on the Dakota Access Pipeline. The two tied the knot September 12, 1988, at the Anchorage Courthouse in the presence of two close friends Sylvester and Linda. Lafone would go on to have three beautiful children and two grandbabies. Lafone worked as a salesman for Alaska Communications for several years before retiring to start DataPointe with his Business Partner Chris Wilson. His interests included playing basketball, going to the gym, playing video games, and beating his kids at Monopoly. He was a fan of both live action and animated Sci-Fi Television and Movies. He had a love for food and cooking, visiting his grandchildren, and reading the Bible. Lafone dedicated most of his adult life to God and the spreading the faith. Anywhere he went he would share God’s love and message to everyone he spoke with. Lafone is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Georgia-Lee Ratcliff of West Seattle; son Lafone G.W. Ratcliff of Anchorage and daughter Geneva Lohse, her husband Dustin Lohse; their two children, Ender and Juniper Lohse of Bonney Lake. Preceded in death by his mother, Geneva C.
