Judy R. Jacober, age 81 of O’Fallon, IL, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon, MO. She was born on Tuesday, April 1, 1941, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Norma (nee Hirsch) Schneider. On Saturday, September 9, 1961, she married Larry C. Jacober, who passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Judy was born and reared in Highland, IL. She graduated from Highland High School, in 1959. She attended SIU-C, earned a degree in education. She taught first grade at the Carbondale School District, Carbondale, IL. She became a homemaker, later returned back to work as an accountant, working for Dycus, Bradley & Draves Accountants. She loved to garden, hand paint ceramics, read, sew and quilting. She was a big stamp collector. Survivors include: Daughter – Jill S. (Jay) Bruce, Marion, IL Daughter – Jennifer L.
