Judy Lee Lawrence age 80, of Fairmont City, Illinois, formerly of Edwardsville, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Elmwood Nursing & Rehab in Maryville, Illinois. She was born on May 31, 1942, in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of the late Martin & Mary Helen (Mills) Schlemer. Judy is survived by her son, Jim Sheppard of Fairmont City; & two grandchildren, James T. Sheppard, Jr. and Brandy Sheppard. A private graveside service will be held at Buck Road Cemetery on Friday, December 30, 2022, with Fr. Rob Johnson officiating. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville is in charge of arrangements.
