Judith M. White, 77, of Roodhouse passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born, Dec. 26, 1944, in Jacksonville, the daughter of William T. “Bill” and Ruth D. Davies. She married, Joe White and he preceded her in death. Surviving are children, Carmen White, Kevin (Lesia “Lee” Stone) White, Michael (Wendi Jones) White, Jody (Darren Watts) Basham and Vicky (Brian Smith) Basham; grandchildren, Chris White, Natasha (Tommy Richards) White, Amber (Janson) Nesbo, Thomasina (Bryce) Adcock, Tye (Katie Berg) Covey, Ryan (Tara) Covey, Logan Covey, Joseph (Brianna) Boatman, Robert (Jessica) Boatman, Cassandra (Corey) McGee, Joshua White, Bradlie (Brandon Seymour) Benner, Joseph Benner, Allie Jones, Brenden and Dawson Clanton, Charlotte Watts, Clayton and Austin Summers and Hunter (Lily) Basham; great grandchildren, Jade Hamilton, Ashten Richards, Harper and Hadley White, Waylon and Swayze Nesbo, Owen Adcock, Ayden Heck, Blakely and Charlotte Covey, Kathryn Covey, Colton, Chayse and Carol McGee, Laikynn, Jackson and Robert Boatman, Sahvanna, Hunter and Samuel Seymoure and Beau Basham; siblings, Patricia (Bob) White, Jack (Mary Jo) Davies and Bill (Bonnie) Davies; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Helen. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matthew Basham, daughter-in-law, Robin White; sisters, Linda White and Nancy McGlasson and great grandson, Hudson Adcock. Judith was a member of Youngblood Baptist Church in Nortonville. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family and friends, going dancing with Joe, in their younger days, family burgoos, teaching her grandchildren and great grandchildren to cook, watch the hummingbirds and deer on her porch. Judith was employed at Casey’s General Store as a manager. She liked watching NASCAR, Kansas City Chiefs and tennis. Judith loved to watch her grandkids play sports and going to lunch with her special friends. A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm. with a memorial service to follow, Friday, Sept. 2. 2022, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse. Memorials are suggested to Youngblood Baptist Church.
