View Tribute Book Judith Lee Spencer, age 77, of Clayton, Delaware, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband by her side on Monday, December 26, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She graduated from John Bassett Moore High School in Smyrna, Delaware in 1963. She is survived by her husband Clarence (Ed) Spenser, Sr., her son Hank Steller and his wife Sherry, two grandsons, two great grandchildren, step-daughters Virginia Messick, Laura Potter and April Tush, step-son Ed Spencer, Jr., 20 step-grandchildren, 17 step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two best friends Charlene Hurd and Dottie Chambers. Judy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to yard sales and playing cards with her friends. She was well loved and was a gentle kindhearted woman. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 PM in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Judith, please visit our floral store.
