Obituary Please share a memory of Juanita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Juanita Miller, 88, Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Born June 7, 1934 in Hamilton County, Indiana to the late Harry E. and Mary M. ( Denny) Manship, she graduated from Fishers High School. Juanita was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for almost 30 years before retiring. An avid quilter, she enjoyed gardening, puzzles and playing scrabble. She married William C. Miller in 1967. They shared 41 years of marriage before he passed away in 2008. They donated the land for the entrance to Independence Park and opened and closed the gates for 20 years. Survivors includes daughter, Kathy Anne (Ed) Hinton; foster son, Bruce Hardy; grandson, Jason (Sierra) Hinton; and great grandson, Aidan; sister Louella Guilkey and two nieces Donna and Sharon. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Arnella Carmany and Jean Manship and half siblings, Melvin Manship and Edith Luke. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, with the service starting at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Johnson County Humane Society.
