Obituary Joshua Anthony Romo 32, passed away suddenly in Katy, Texas on August 25th, 2022. He was born in Houston on March 15, 1990 to Christina Draeger Romo and Arnold R Romo. Joshua was raised by his mother, Christina Draeger Hernandez and father, Frank R Hernandez in Spring Texas, attending Roth Elementary, Houser Intermediate and York Middle School. Joshua, then attended Morton Ranch High School, residing in Katy, Texas with his father, Arnold R Romo and father’s wife Olga Barrera. Joshua spent his childhood participating in various sports, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Football and Hockey, he was exceptional gifted at Hockey. Along with his mother, his father Frank was there every step of the way and being Joshua’s #1 fan at anything he did. Joshua’s childhood summers were spent camping with his family at the River in New Braunfels, almost never missing a summer floating the river. Joshua also, spent a lot of time at his grandparents on the countryside of Spring, Texas and wherever you found his Grandpa, you would find Joshua right there beside him. He was his Grandpa’s little sidekick. Joshua had a joy of doing anything outdoors from riding his horse, riding go-carts, 4-wheeling, jumping ramps and fishing with his friends, the Hancock boys at the creek behind their house. The Hancock Family started out as neighbors and very soon the boys’ made our both of our families close friends. God blessed Joshua with many gifts. Joshua was Intelligent, he had an engineering mind with an entrepreneur spirit, always striving to create his own business. Joshua was a lot like his Grandpa, both being mechanically and musically inclined and loved anything with an engine. He really enjoyed working on and updating his vehicles starting with his very first car to every pickup truck he had. Joshua furthered his skills becoming an accomplished welder and becoming certified through Spark Academy. Joshua had a zest for life, being an avid biker and his grandest of all, being a father. He enjoyed jumping on his Harley, joining his father Arnold and all his biker buddies for road trips to Austin bike rallies, Sturgis South Dakota just to name a couple and took pride in his tattoos. He just loved the open road, a free spirit. Above all, Joshua’s utmost greatest joy in life was being a Father to Adrian Jay Romo. In general, he just loved being a father to his sons. He took his boy Adrian with him, almost everywhere he went. Even taking him fishing to San Luis Pass, went to Freeport beach, the popular sites of Austin and floating the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. Joshua loved his friends, he loved his family and he absolutely loved and adored his son, Adrian Jay Romo more than his own life. Joshua’s highest priorities had always remained being a father to his sons and he fought harder than anything he ever had before just to always be in their lives. Joshua is predeceased by his beloved Grandpa, Albert Edward Draeger. He is survived by his sons Adrian Jay Romo, Abel Anthony Romo and Sean Romo. His Mother Christina Draeger Hernandez, his Fathers Arnold R Romo and Frank R Hernandez. His Sisters Devan Andrea Beltran, Breanna Haley Hernandez, Amber Jené Cartey, Alyssa Arin Romo and his only brother Jakob Aaron Romo. His Grandmothers Vennie Draeger and Rita Rivera. His Grandfather Arnulfo H Romo, and a host of beloved Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
