Josephine was born on October 17, 1934, on Orchard St. in New York City to the late Ignazio Como and Benedetta Renda. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years. She worked for the city of New York as an administrator for the Department of Highways. Her passions were her love for family and cooking. Josephine enjoyed being with people, playing cards, bingo, trivia games, visiting casinos, and dancing. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Ignazio Como and Benedetta Renda. She is survived by her loving children, Robert J. Storrow, Betty-Jane Ranelli, and, Anthony DeStasio; grandchildren, Robert C. Storrow, Melissa Storrow, Joanna Ulvert, Elizabeth Ranelli, and Robert Ranelli; great grandchildren, Ryan and Emilia McComas, Charles and Victoria Ulvert, Jonathan Ranelli; siblings, Vincent Como and Mary Ann Di Fano; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, starting at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1200 SE 10th St., Stuart, FL 34996. A viewing will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Chapel in Palm City from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City, FL 34990.
