Obituary Johnnie F. Holland, 86, of Hurst, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Parkway Manor in Marion. Johnnie worked as a custodian at Hurst/Bush Schools and then transferred to the Herrin Elementary School. Johnnie was born February 10, 1936 in Bush, IL to William and Lillian (Mathis) Holland. Johnnie married Yvonne Hunter on December 8, 1978 in Hurst. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Yvonne Holland of Hurst; daughter, Toni Holland of TN; 5 grandchildren, Chris Hunter, Julie Glasco and her husband, Cory, Angela Campbell and her husband, Manual, Ryan Bracy and his significant other, Abbey, and Tiffany Osborne and her husband, Jeremy; 6 great grandchildren, Lillian, Madilyn, Justin, Austin, Brienna, and Sydney; and 1 great-great grandchild, Brelynn. He was preceded in death by his parents. Johnnie’s wishes were to be cremated; a memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Blairsville Cemetery.
