John Joseph Graybill, 75,of Palmyra, formerly of Hershey and Conewago Township, passed away on November 22, 2022 in the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Hershey on April 8, 1947, he was son of the late Clayton and Jeanne (Garrett) Graybill. He was a 1965 graduate of Hershey High. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning a Bronze Star. He was an experienced electrician and was owner and operator of Graybill Electric. He also served as a Conewago Township Supervisor for 24 years and was a Township Committee Person. His memberships include, VFW #6391 Port Allegany and First United Methodist Church in Hershey. John loved the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter. John is survived by his wife, Daryl (Shaffer) Graybill of Palmyra; daughter, Jodi G. and Greg Newman of Indian Trail, NC; daughter, Amy J. Graybill and partner, Jeff Feidt; of Enola; grandsons, Brodey Newman and SSG Jonathan and Francyn Loomis; great-granddaughter, Austyn; and sisters, Marianne Russell of Camp Hill and Rebecca Porsch of Linglestown. Military Honors and interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, on Friday, December 9th at 11AM. Those attending should arrive at the cemetery by 10:45AM, parking at the rear of the Administration Building, following signs for “Funerals”. The family will visit and share memories with guests after the service.
