View Tribute Book John Harley Robinson, age 85, of Knoxville passed away Saturday evening, November 19, 2022, at his home. Harley was a member of West Hills Baptist Church. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Masters degree and studied the structure of arched bridges. He was retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority after 30 years of service as a Civil Engineer. Harley designed the lock at Melton Hill Dam and other structures for coal and nuclear power plants. He volunteered with Royal Ambassadors Youth Program at Mars Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed camping. Harley is preceded in death by his parents, Conda Robinson and Ethel Berry Robinson; brother, Richard Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma Pack Robinson; daughters, Karen Oland, Cynthia Wilbanks and husband Richard; son, Michael Robinson and wife Ohia; grandchildren, Hannah and Melina Robinson, and Brian Oland; sisters, Marie Jackson, Alice Hurst, Irene Roberts; brothers, James Conda Robinson and Jerry Mitchell Robinson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 1st at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Drew Prince officiating. Family and friends will gather at 3 p.m. at Sherwood Memorials Gardens for graveside services.
