Obituary John Harold Bruestle, 96, passed away peacefully at his home in Westfield on December 14, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ to John and Clara Bruestle, he grew up in Irvington, NJ. John attended Irvington Public Schools. John was a proud veteran of the US Navy, having served during World War II. He worked as a project manager with AT&T in Basking Ridge for 25 years before retiring in 1996. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Filomena; his children, Corinne D’Antonio, Denise Johnson and John A. Bruestle; 6 grandchildren, Alex Bolovschak, Leanna Fette, Laura Johnson, Amy Johnson, Rachel Bruestle and Taylor Bruestle, and one great grandson Lucas Fette. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11AM at Holy Trinity Church in Westfield. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
