John, “Johnny” moved to Texas in 1959. He loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. John is survived by his mother, Shirley McCarty, sisters, Linda McCarty, Pam Helms and Elizabeth Marquette and her husband Brent Marquette. John had many friends, nephews and nieces.
