Obituary Mr. John C. Brechbill, 82, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Saturday December 24, 2022 in his home. Born July 3, 1940 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Crawford J. and Rosalie (Miller) Brechbill. Mr. Brechbill was a graduate of Chambersburg High School with the Class of 1958 and received his certificate in Accounting from LaSalle Extension University. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Brechbill was employed by Continental Bank in Chicago, IL and Washington National Insurance Company, Evanston, IL. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he served at the Accounting Manager at Northwestern University in Evanston. He is survived by one sister, Linda L. Coy of Fayetteville; nephew, Brandon Coy; his beloved cat, Annie; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy J. Brechbill; and one brother, Ronald M. Brechbill. It was his request to have no public services. Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
