Joanna Rose Rogers, 71, of Pace, Florida passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was born on August 13, 1951, in Passaic City, New Jersey to the late C. Richard and Marie Wilson. After 25 years of working with the Pasco County School District, Joanna blessed the Santa Rosa County School District for 10 years before retiring. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. Joanna not only received the gift of Christ but like Jesus, she constantly showed love to others with her actions and gifts. She is survived by her husband, J. Raymond Rogers of Pace, Florida; two daughters and a son-in-love, Jaime and Kevin Sparks of Baker, Florida, and Rhonda Rogers Vannoy of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Robert “Lee”, Hunter, Lexi, Hayley, Maddie, Sydney, Autumn, Luke, Alzada, and Pearson; sister and brother-in-love, Susan and Alan Marshner; brothers, Rick, Ken, and Paul Wilson; sister and brother-in-love, Nancy and Buck Basey; sister and brother-in-love, Kathy and Pat Moden; sisters-in-love, Vicki, Rowena, Gail, Sarah, and Lori; brothers-in-love, John Rogers and Frazier Rhodes, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Joanna R Rogers will be cremated, and a celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Jan McDonnough, will be held at Grace Methodist Church, 4540 Chumuckla Hwy Pace, Florida 32571, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Visitation will start at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel will be assisting the family.
