Obituary STOKESDALE – JoAnn Plummer Moore, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Gibson House in Reidsville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 19th, at Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Stokesdale with Pastor Danny Hemric and Pastor Larry Easler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friend’s one hour prior to the service, 1 – 2 PM, at the church and other times at the residence, 2075 Gideon Grove Church Road in Stokesdale. JoAnn was born August 2, 1936 to the late James “Jimmy” Gordon Plummer and Lillie Mae Calhoun Plummer. She was a member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Norman Moore of the home; her four children, Pamela Diane Freeman (Richard), William Douglas Moore (Rae), Randy Earl Moore (fiancée, Renae Wall) and Melodie Lynn McBride (Dean); daughter-in-law, Carolyn Annette Moore; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; along with 10 siblings, Dorothy Mabe, Mary Lee West, Betty Bullins, James Plummer, Jane Marshall, Phyllis Plummer, Kathy Massey, Craig Plummer, Charles “Chuck” Plummer and Scott Plummer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Keith Moore; two brothers, Bud Plummer and Bobby Plummer and a sister, Barbara Parrish. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Tabernacle, 7923 Lester Road, Stokesdale, NC 27357.
